Family Focus Consultancy (FFC), established in 2015 to meet the needs of Teachers, Schools and Parents on Parental Engagement in Schools. Teachers will be able to access professional learning aligned to Australian Professional Standards for Teachers standards 7.3.2 and 3.7.2

School Administration staff will be able to help strengthen their skills in interacting with parents though professional le

arning materials. FFC can also arrange to work with your Parents and wider school communities to ensure meaningful and authentic interactions and engagement with the your School. We offer a Pro Bono service for Parents to support them individually to engage and interact with teachers, schools and the wider Department of Education and Communities , building a scaffold to respectful, meaningful and productive relationships which allows for the best outcomes for children. FFC will provide you with support that is in line with both National teaching standards and the Federal Governments pillars of education

All those teachers out there, enjoy your back to school shopping as much as us parents do! FFC has been student shopping for 20 years and did the last one this year for secondary school

Sometimes the absolute best teacher student relationship is forged through adversity and love for the lost child. FFC was very sick when daughter 3 was in year 1. And son started school. So certain teachers took them under their wing, today it came out that D3 loved MrsU because she gave rough gruff hugs and smelt like ci******es (D3’s dad smokes) and MrsB took her to MacDonalds and to drive a tractor at her place when she graduated reading recovery- I know I signed the note to go in a car for reading recovery.... above and beyond teachers win hearts and minds of kids. Son loved them too! He even read somewhat in RR even though he planned to be an assassin ( it was the clock in the room that put him off)
