Have you ever tried pottery? A three day experience is coming up soon at Chaucer on Bridge Street Gallery, Uralla. Dates are 26th 27th and 28th September. Cost is $400 for all three days.

The pugmill has been causing problems. Yesterday it was moved outside for a hosing. will it function well today?

The kiln is open, but not yet unpacked. It looks excellent.

An enjoyable Saturday with students and visitors. We said goodbye to one of Michael's biggest pots and look forward to opening the kiln on Monday.

Here are some more students pots now on display at the gallery. Michael will be glazing and firing most of the new week. I'll be away in Newcastle so won't be able to send any messages. Good potting everyone. I look forward to seeing the results when I return in a week.

Glazing will be the main activity at the Saturday classes this week. Packing the kiln and then firing will will mean a very busy week coming up.

So good to have our students back for the new term. I tried to take a video but there is still much to learn as it doesn't play.

Pottery classes will resume next Saturday, 1st August. Michael will travel home on Friday, bringing clay. Farzana is now making good progress at John Hunter hospital. Many thanks to all who have sent messages for her recovery.
