Our tiny people may be only 2cm tall, but it doesn’t mean they can’t experience an art gallery at their own level!

This one equals lots of setup with 103 mini-artist creating an entire gallery each, but definitely worth it for the end result!

Two workshops on Friday 10 July at Mudgeeraba. Book both for a full creative day with lunch supervision in between.

🐘 Watercolour Elephants
Friday 10 July | 10am – 12pm | 7-12yrs | $40
Your mini-artist will draw and paint their own elephant playing in the water, starting with shape and proportioning techniques to get the form just right before a single drop of paint hits the page.

Then comes the fun part. Using wet-in-wet watercolour techniques, they'll flood their elephant with whatever colour they want. Realistic or totally wild. Hot pink? A sunset of oranges and purples? Electric blue? Entirely up to them.

🎬 Mini-Movie Makers: Stop Frame Animation
Friday 10 July | 1pm – 4pm | 8-14yrs | $45

Ever watched the Lego Movie and thought "I could make that"? Now they can.
Your mini-artist will build their own little 3D world using Lego, cardboard, plasticine and painted backdrops, then film their very own stop frame animation movie. They'll explore the Stop Motion Studio app and leave knowing exactly how to keep making movies at home.

💡 Make it a full day! Book lunch supervision between workshops and your mini-artist gets a big, sparkly Friday at our Mudgeeraba studio.

In Bella's Digital Animation Workshop on 8th July, you can begin to learn how to be an animator! All you need is a tablet and a little previous experience drawing on sketchbook.

Create & Connect: Parent/Child Workshop with Barefoot Bobby
Thursday 9 July | 4pm – 6pm | Child $40 / Adult $25

This one's for you and your mini-artist, together.
In this connection-focused canvas workshop, your child leads the way. You follow their creative instincts, explore their ideas alongside them, and get a real glimpse into what their imaginative world actually looks like from the inside.

Together you'll create a large expressive canvas painting — your child as the vision holder, choosing colours, guiding the first marks, sharing the meaning behind their ideas.

Led by Miss Bobby, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychotherapy, Create & Connect is built around one simple idea: that creativity is one of the most powerful ways to truly see your child.

Got a mini-artist who fills their notebooks with characters and creatures? Tuesday 7 July at Mudgeeraba was made for them. 🐉

Two workshops on character art and technique. Book both for a full creative afternoon, with supervision in between.

Manga Drawing (Intermediate)
Tuesday 7 July | 12pm – 1pm | 8-14yrs | $22

This is where Manga skills get built properly. Your mini-artist will explore face shapes, eyes, body shapes and movement in Manga style, and learn how to draw Manga-proportioned faces with a whole range of expressions, all while developing their very own Original Character.

A heads up for parents: this workshop is designed to build skills and practise techniques rather than produce a single finished piece. Students leave with a reference library of skills they can keep using at home. Past students have found this approach far more valuable in the long run!

🐉 Design a Dragon Acrylic Painting
Tuesday 7 July | 2pm – 4pm | 8-14yrs | $40

With Gilly AfterDark as their guide, your mini-artist will learn how to proportion a mythical creature, portray scales, leathery and textured skin, and use shadowing and highlights in acrylic. They'll practise drawing claws, wings, teeth and dragon eyes. Then they'll bring it all together and create their very own dragon from scratch, with Posca markers adding the final detail and definition.

💡 Make it a full afternoon! Book supervision between workshops and your mini-artist gets to stay for the whole afternoon at our Mudgeeraba studio.
