This is the official page of Highland Reserve State School. Highland Reserve School was proudly opened in 2009 by the then Premier of Queensland, Anna Bligh.

The school was designed and built as a 21st Century Digital Learning Environment incorporating an innovative range of teaching and learning spaces, furnishings and digital technologies. Our school was built at a cost of $30 million to serve the communities of Upper Coomera, Heritage Gardens, Highland Reserve and Wongawallan.

Thank you to our wonderful P&C and Mark Boothman MP for donating a new chilled water bubbler! This system has 3 bubblers and three drink bottle filler taps. It looks amazing and ready for the warmer months!

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this Friday's Junior Athletics Carnival until next term.
While the oval may appear to be in reasonable condition from a distance, inspections have shown that it remains extremely soft, muddy and waterlogged in many areas. The 100m track in particular is still very wet and unsuitable for running events. In addition, the water table remains high, preventing the ground from drying out despite recent improvements in the weather.
The safety of our students is our highest priority, and after careful consideration we believe postponing the event is the most responsible decision.
A new date for the Junior Athletics Carnival will be communicated by the end of the term.
At this stage, no decision has been made regarding next Thursday's Senior Athletics Carnival. We will continue to monitor the condition of the grounds and the weather forecast, which is currently also looking unfavourable, before making any further announcements.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
