The Cabarita Community Post Office is currently seeking volunteers to support our Postal service in Cabarita. Training is provided and it's a great way to meet people, get some experience in customer service and make a valuable contribution to our growing Cabarita community. If you would like to help out and a have a few hours to spare, please contact Mel Binding on 0447 790 949 or speak to one of our friendly volunteers at the Post office for more information.

Is anyone else concerned about the number of unregistered motorbikes tearing up & down local roads and tracks around the lake?
If so send your concerns to the snap send solve app along with any video, photos or details that can be forwarded to relevant authorities.
We endorse youth activities and would gladly work towards a project that supports them if that is their interest BUT currently it is dangerous and also damaging assets eg walking trail which costs a lot of money of keep upgraded!
Please help us help the community!

ℹ️ ELIGIBILITY & PRIZE INFORMATION

To clear up any confusion regarding event results: under tournament conditions, players were strictly eligible to enter and win only one division.

Because of this single-division rule, junior golfers who posted winning scores in A, B, C, or Ladies grades were ineligible to claim those specific grade titles (though all players remained eligible to compete for the overall lowest scratch score). Additionally, players who qualified for the Scratch/Gross seeded group but were unable to play in that group were ineligible to win that Gross division.

A special shoutout to junior players Michael Mooney and Lucy Batchelor, who missed out on grade division prizes purely due to the one-division rule—outstanding golf from both of you!

So sorry for your loss Travis McGowan and all the family & friends - Terry Moose McGowan was such a wonderful person to work with, and did an amazing job with our mural at the community centre. He will be sadly missed and we hope our mural can continue his legacy well into the future!

MOOSE MCGOWAN
The Mildura Motorcycle Club extends its sincere condolences to the McGowan family on the passing of Terry “Moose” McGowan.

Moose was a valued and much-loved member of the Mildura Motorcycle Club, contributing countless hours over the years as both a rider and a dedicated volunteer. His passion for the club and the sport was evident in everything he did.

A gifted signwriter by trade, Moose’s work has become part of the fabric of Olympic Park Speedway, with many of his signs still proudly displayed throughout the venue—a lasting reminder of his craftsmanship and commitment to the club.

Moose also took immense pride in watching his son, Travis, forge a tremendous international speedway career and more recently seeing his grandchildren begin their own motorcycle journeys, turning laps at Olympic Park Speedway.

On behalf of everyone at the Mildura Motorcycle Club, we extend our deepest sympathies to Cassandra, Travis, Irene, Elleen, and the entire McGowan family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Moose. Your contribution to our club and the sport will never be forgotten.
