Can I still use a Spending Plan when my pay is never the same?

I get asked this one all the time and as someone with a fluctuating income myself, let me tell you, point blank, this is exactly where it comes into its own.

Now, most of your bills do not budge from one pay to the next. Your rent or mortgage, your power, your rates, your water, your phone, they all turn up like clockwork for about the same amount. It is your income that bounces around, not your outgoings.

So here is my golden rule, and it has never once let me down. Underestimate what is coming in, overestimate what is going out, and before you know it you have built yourself a lovely little buffer without even trying.

Whether you are FIFO, a nurse chasing penalties and public holidays, or your hours are just all over the shop, the software takes the lot in its stride and I will show you exactly how, step by step.

Trust me, it is far more straightforward than you would ever think.
