Last week we kicked off three VME Mentoring Matters programs with induction days at Glenroy College, William Ruthven Secondary College and Wurun Senior Campus.

From Term 3, students will spend 10 weeks connecting with industry mentors, exploring the world of work, and building the confidence, skills and networks to support their next steps.

A huge thank you to our 19 volunteer mentors for giving their time, sharing their experience and helping make this program possible.

We’re looking forward to seeing the connections, conversations and growth that come from the program.

It’s National Volunteer Week - Your Year to Volunteer

This week, we celebrate and thank all volunteers who generously give their time to support and strengthen our communities. Your dedication, care, and passion make a real difference.

At INLLEN, we rely on the support of hundreds of volunteers each year to help empower young people and create positive change across Melbourne’s inner north. Your enthusiasm, experience, and commitment are truly valued and appreciated.

Whether you’re mentoring a young person through career decisions, sharing your industry insights as a guest speaker, supporting students through mock interviews, or helping learner drivers complete their 120 hours behind the wheel, your contribution has a lasting impact.

Thank you to every volunteer who helps young people build confidence, skills, and pathways for the future.
