Imagine making the difficult choice between heating, eating, and keeping clean.

For 5.5 million Australians, this is their unfortunate reality. See the full report from Good360.

Imagine making the difficult choice between heating, eating, and keeping clean.

For 5.5 million Australians, this is their unfortunate reality.

Our newest Hygiene Poverty in Australia Report found:
➡️ 5.5 million Australians are living in hygiene poverty right now
➡️ 1 in 3 have experienced hygiene poverty before
➡️ 43% are worried they won't be able to afford basic hygiene products in the next year

Hygiene poverty doesn't always look how you'd expect. It's the shampoo swapped for something cheaper, the toothpaste stretched an extra week, the shower skipped to save on hot water. Quiet, easy to miss, and getting more common.

Good360 is on a mission to secure 1 million hygiene products to make a dent in Australia's hygiene poverty crisis. Australia has the surplus, the businesses, and the goodwill — we just need to connect it to the people who need it most.

Did you know that what your child wears can play a huge role in their safety on the farm?

Did you know that what your child wears can play a huge role in their safety on the farm? 👕✨

It’s incredibly easy for little ones to blend into farm backgrounds, bushes or near dams. By dressing them in bright, vibrant colours like a bold red top or a fluoro hat, you give yourself a massive advantage if they happen to wander away - those bright colours ensure they stand out so you can spot and reach them quickly.

Make high-vis a rule for your next farm day! Head over to https://www.kidsafevic.com.au/water-safety/ for more tips and advice.

Understanding suspensions from school for your child with disability. See this handy advice from ACD - Advocating for children with disability.

Understanding suspensions from school for your child with disability

For many families, the process of school suspensions can feel stressful and unclear.
Understanding the suspension process and your child's rights can help you advocate for the support they need to stay connected to learning and make a positive return to school.

Schools should consider your child's disability, support needs and reasonable adjustments when making decisions about suspension.

A few steps to get started:
🔹 Ask what supports have been tried before suspension
🔹 Request a Student Support Group meeting to discuss next steps
🔹 Discuss what support your child will need to return successfully
🔹 Take a support person or advocate to meetings if it would help

Our guide explains the suspension process, your child's rights, and the supports to consider along the way.
