Today our Cedars community demonstrated care in action. From Prep to Year 12, students and staff came together to donate food items for our Social Justice Pantry Collection. Our Year 12 students thoughtfully packed and organised the donations, which will be delivered to local food banks and community kitchens across the Illawarra.
It’s inspiring to see our community unite to support those in need.

Raising children in today’s digital world looks different at every stage - but one thing remains the same: they all need guidance to navigate it well.
Our Safe on Social Parent information Session is designed for parents of children of all ages, equipping you to support your child in navigating the digital world safely and confidently.
Led by Safe on Social Founder and CEO Kirra Pendergast, parents will walk away with a toolkit covering privacy settings, device boundaries, AI literacy and so much more, providing a clearer understanding of how to raise digitally resilient children in a fast-paced digital world. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of Kirra throughout the evening.

This morning, a group of our students attended the Illawarra Prayer Breakfast, joining with Christians from across our region in a time of collective prayer and encouragement.
Our students had the privilege of leading worship, doing so with confidence and a strong sense of purpose. It was a meaningful opportunity to represent Cedars and be part of something bigger across our wider community.

Our K-2 students stepped into the fun this week as we joined in National Simultaneous Storytime.
Ms Petterson and Mrs Yeo brought 'Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller' to life with an energetic and interactive reading that had students laughing, joining in and fully engaged from beginning to end. With teamwork games and plenty of cheering throughout, students didn’t just hear the story - they experienced it together.
It was a joyful time of imagination, connection and shared learning for our K-2 students.

Today, Cedars showed up in full colour for our Jersey Day Missions Fundraiser - a day that brought energy, connection and a whole lot of team pride across the College. From favourite sporting teams to jerseys representing our own, it was a powerful reminder of what it looks like to belong, and to come together for something bigger than ourselves.
All funds raised are supporting our mission partnership with Forever Projects, helping create lasting impact well beyond our gates.
Throughout the day, students took on the challenge of throwing, kicking and scoring 5,895 goals. It was fast-paced, fun, and full of encouragement.
If you would like to support our missions goal, we invite you to partner with us through this link - https://cedars.nsw.edu.au/2026/04/29/cedars-2026-missions-partner-forever-projects/

Cedars was excited to host our local InterCru Prayer Gathering yesterday, welcoming students from Shellharbour Anglican College and Calderwood Christian School to our campus. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to come together to worship, pray, and stand united in faith for their schools and youth groups.
There was something really special about seeing students from different school communities gathered together in support and encouragement of one another, united by a shared sense of purpose and faith.
