After living in Bondi for 9 years and having my first baby there, I am so deeply affected by this weekends tragedy...

Tears run down my face as I type this.
The lump in my throat hasn't left since the horrifying events unfolded...

I was once that new mum like Ashlee, wandering aimlessly around Bondi Junction Westfield shops with my 8 month old sleeping in the pram. Just needing to just get out the house or grab a coffee.
Popping into kmart for any reason....

A feel a deep mourning for my safe place.
My Bondi mother's group friends. My old local community.

We are shattered.
I cannot comprehend what has just happened

My heart is absolutely broken for everyone's lives who have dramatically changed.

I am with you Bondi ❤

We have been celebrating Luna new year these past 2 weeks!

We been having fun dancing to Chinese songs and playing with traditional Chinese drums

We have been creating very cool Dragon art works 🐲
Weve been discussing chinese traditions which included sharing envelopes with gifts of coins, real and chocolate (a way of wishing happiness and good health to all children)
