On wet and rainy Thursdays our First Impressions Room at our Miandetta Children's Centre do sensory play.

Our littlest learners have been exploring their senses with sniff jars, different textures and different visuals.

The Office of the Independent Regulator invites parents and carers to attend a dedicated free webinar on Wednesday, 18 March at 12:00-1:00pm.
This session supports the important role parents and carers play in building child safe organisations.
Topics covered:
• What should parents and carers know about the Child and Youth Safe Standards and the Universal Principle for Aboriginal Cultural Safety?
• How can parents contribute to promoting child safety?
• What should parents and carers look for when engaging with a child-safe organisation?
The content will be relatable and practical, with participants able to submit questions or topics for discussion before the session.

Our admin super star's Trish and Lauren received some beautiful flowers this afternoon. This was a thank you to Lauren, Trish and Courtney for their care and kindness from a family who have attended care with us.

Our administration team are the voices on the phone and the typing behind the emails. They are an essential part of our Stepping Stones team and the support they provide to our families and our educators is nothing short of amazing.

Our Miandetta educators set up a special bike-washing station outdoors so the children could give their bikes a good clean and learn how to care for their belongings.

With buckets, cloths, and plenty of soapy water, they enjoyed scrubbing off the dirt while discovering the importance of looking after the things they use every day. It was a fun, hands-on way to build responsibility and pride in their bikes!
