🔬 FOCUS LAB: The Artistry of Mambo

🏆 10x World Salsa Champion Mario Acosta brings his theatre-influenced approach to movement and mambo to us for this special 4-week series.

This is not about learning new steps, it’s about transforming the ones you already know ✨

Through Mario’s method, you’ll work on:
• Cleaner lines and body design
• Texture and movement quality
• Expression and theatrical intention
• Musical interpretation and dynamics 🎶

The goal? To elevate your existing vocabulary into dancing that is more expressive, explosive, and performance-ready — whether you social dance or perform 💃🏽🔥

This Saturday we continue our end-of-term Specialty Workshop Series at Dance Mambo — a space to slow things down, go deeper, and really understand the why behind your dancing 🧠✨

Our next topic is Musicality for Salsa Dancers

This workshop is not about learning new steps, but about learning how to hear the music and let it guide your movement 🕺🏻

We will work on:
• Understanding phrasing without counting 🎶
• Interpreting the music through movement ✨
• Recognising breaks, accents & sections 🎯
• Practical musicality for Salsa dancing 💃🏽
