Hi all,
The UTS United Nations Society + The Big Lift + Students for Humanity are hosting a fundraiser to raise funds for the not-for-profit organisation, StreetSide Medics (SSM) (Link for more info: https://lnkd.in/gibPxVSg). All proceeds go to SSM.
This NGO runs a volunteer GP mobile medical centre to provide medical services free of charge for those experiencing homelessness in Sydney. Services range from check ups to pathology tests, scans and administration of prescription medication. Each shift includes at least 1 GP, a medical support officer and volunteers including allied health professionals. With doctors and volunteers, SSM attempts to address both medical and social needs.
However, as a not-for-profit organisation community funding is required so that SSM may continue to effectively provide services to those who need it most.
We are running an auction with SIGNED BOOKS from renowned authors and social justice advocates. Here is the link to get your hands on them:

We also have a GoFundMe and are aspiring to reach the halfway mark! We’re almost there so your help can take us a long way!!
