Another great news from the Department of Home Affairs is to address the issue of skills shortages because of COVID-19 and closed borders.

Starting from 1 December 2021, those who hold 485 visa holders:

✅Period for staying for Masters by Coursework/ Masters extended graduates could have a one-year permanent increase, which means students could stay for three years, same as Masters by Research graduates.

✅And for the Graduate Work stream, the stay period will temporarily increase from 18 to 24 months.

Starting from 16th February, The Immigration Office has announced the new version DPD (Digital Passenger Declaration) has replaced ATD (Australia Travel Declaration).

All passengers arriving by air into Australia from 18th February, should complete the DPD , you can start the application seven days before your flight and submit it within 72 hours prior to your departure for Australia.
