What an incredible night for Ulladulla High School!

Last night at Sydney Town Hall, our School Captain and Big Picture student, Annie-Maree Martin, was named the 2026 NSW School-Based Apprentice or Trainee of the Year at the NSW Training Awards.

This is an outstanding achievement and reflects Annie’s hard work, determination, leadership and willingness to take every opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.

Congratulations, Annie-Maree. You have worked incredibly hard for this, and you thoroughly deserve it. We could not be prouder🙏

Our Year 11 Hospitality students stepped up to support the UHS P&C fundraiser, baking delicious treats and volunteering recently at the Bunnings stall with enthusiasm and teamwork.

A special shoutout to Nyx, Holly, Renee, and our Year 7 helpers Brooke, Charlie and Jesse. Despite the weather, their efforts helped raise more funds than expected and was a wonderful example of what community is all about. Well done, UHS! 💙

Hello and welcome to Week 6!
In this weeks edition of the Summit Times our Year 11 Hospitality and Year 7 students demonstrated generosity, community spirit and a fantastic work ethic by volunteering their time and talents to support the UHS P&C fundraiser; Our Year 10 and 11 students have embarked on the highly valued Ulladulla Community Drivers Ed Program; And Year 11 student Jaya Pimm is representing Gilmore as a National Youth Parliament member, gaining valuable first-hand experience of Federal Parliament and developing her understanding of civics, leadership and public service.

The under 16 Boys AFL team shone yesterday, beating Westfields Sports High 9.3.57 to 4.3.27 in the Round of 16! They’re now in the State Finals and in the top 8 schools in the state! Special shout out to Bodhi, Tali, Matt, Hamish, and Jett, plus thanks to the Year 8s who filled in. Let’s bring on the finals 🤞

We’re thrilled to welcome the students from Mikawa High School, marking 31 years of this special exchange with Ulladulla High! Our Japanese visitors arrived on Tuesday afternoon, and a big thank you goes out to the amazing families who have opened their homes to host them. We’re also delighted to have Mr. Okamoto back with us after 7 years! The students will stay until Tuesday morning, with Monday being their final full day☺️
