We’re so excited to share the beautiful mural painted on our shipping container - a vibrant tribute to the animals that our students and families associate with Tyers Primary School!

After a fun voting process, the standout winners were the wonderful creatures we often see around our school grounds: the King Parrot, Blue Tongue Lizard, and Brown Tree Frog. These local favourites now proudly brighten up our space thanks to the incredible talent of Gippsland artist Simon White Art, who brought our vision to life in the most inspiring way.

A huge thank you to Simon for sharing his skills and creativity with us. Watching him work was an absolute treat for students and staff alike, and this mural has truly become a source of pride and inspiration for our entire school community.

Good afternoon everyone,

Expanding on our terrific news yesterday we also have a new Business Manager position advertised beginning mid term 4.

We would like the public opportunity to sincerely thank Michelle for her years of dedication, passion and commitment to TPS. Michelle is looking forward to her new promotional opportunity and is forever welcome back to TPS.

We are confident the successful business manager applicant will continue the great progress the school is making and look forward to sharing the positive news early next month with our community.

We’re thrilled to welcome Adam Bailey as our new Principal and Bridie Tomkins as our new Assistant Principal at Tyers Primary School!

Adam brings over 15 years of experience in school leadership, with a passion for helping students and schools thrive. Bridie joins us with 12 years of experience in the Latrobe Valley, known for her ability to engage students and build strong peer connections.

With increasing enrolments, excellent NAPLAN results, and outstanding student attitude to school feedback, Tyers PS continues to shine and aims be one of the region’s top-performing schools.
