On Saturday Leo and I went to South Australian Dressage Association. Thankyou SADA, and Equinade.

I am over the moon. Leo tried his heart out, and was absolutely exhausted afterwards.

So how to you compete a 26 year old that hasn’t been doing much recently? With a lot of care and compassion. Magnetic boots, an Equissage, a short travel time, good footing, a slow warm up then pellets and carrots for afterwards. Also I didn’t care at all for the score, just about the feel and communication that Leo and I experienced, while trying to follow the floor plan. I asked, he gave me what he could. As always I tried to be the best rider I can be, because he deserves nothing less.

I was asked if we got much rain. I don’t have a rain gauge but my answer is yes. Got a bit of rain last week.
When you own horses, you have to be everything; an equine nutritionist, saddlefitter, a fencer, plumber, and now an earthmoving water engineer. Hopefully it dries enough today that I can get more hay
