School holiday fun has been full of laughter, adventure, and creativity with our big daycare friends! We enjoyed exciting park play where the children climbed, ran, explored, and built their confidence through active outdoor play. Back at daycare, the children worked together to design and build an awesome monster truck ramp, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and imaginative thinking. To finish off the fun, everyone cooled down with an exciting water balloon play session, filled with laughter, movement, and wonderful memories. It has been a fantastic school holiday program full of friendship, learning, and fun!

We had an exciting time exploring our messy Monster Truck sensory tray. The children loved driving the monster trucks through the mud, splashing through puddles, and creating their own adventurous tracks. This hands-on sensory experience encouraged imaginative play, fine motor development, and problem-solving while allowing the children to explore different textures in a fun and engaging way. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and excitement as everyone enjoyed getting wonderfully messy together!

Our little daycare friends had so much fun exploring our police-themed sensory tray and dressing up as police officers. The sensory tray encouraged imaginative play as the children investigated different materials, used their problem-solving skills, and created their own rescue and policing adventures. Dressing up sparked confidence, teamwork, and communication as the children worked together, took turns, and shared ideas while protecting their community. On Friday our little daycare children enjoyed decorating cupcakes while exploring their different senses. They used their sense of touch by feeling the soft icing and different textures of the sprinkles, their sense of smell by noticing the sweet aroma of the cupcakes and icing, and their sense of taste as they enjoyed their delicious creations. This fun, hands-on activity encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and conversation while supporting fine motor skills and building confidence through independent choice-making.

Today, the children took the lead in choosing their own activity and decided they wanted to create a boat using recycled materials. They shared their ideas, selected the resources they needed, and worked together to design and build their boat. Throughout the experience, they explored their creativity, solved problems, and used their imagination while making decisions about their project. Our little daycare friends had an exciting day learning and playing police! 🚓👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ With a beautiful police station setup, the children explored teamwork, kindness, and community helpers through imaginative play. From directing traffic to helping their friends and solving pretend emergencies, every little officer had a wonderful time learning while having fun.
