From 5 January 2026, eligible families can access up to 72 hours per fortnight of subsidised childcare without needing to meet the activity test (3 Day Guarantee).

We’re really excited about this change as it means we can help more local families access quality early education and care here at Banora Point Early Learning Centre. 💛

On 5 January 2026, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) activity test was replaced. All CCS eligible families can now get 3 days of subsidised child care per week. These changes are known as the 3 Day Guarantee.
