Bouncing Into Fun at Inflatable World! 🎈

✨ Our OOSHies bounced their way through a massive day at Inflatable World! Writing this on the bus home with 40 happy, sweaty, tired OOSHies & 4 happy, exhausted educators. 🚌😅 We're so proud of the awesome behaviour on show, which made for one very happy coordinator! 😁

💙 Big days out let kids burn energy, test their limits & practise following group expectations in a new place.

🌱 Keeping their excitement in check & making safe choices while having a ball helped the children grow in self-control & confidence, supporting a strong sense of wellbeing in My Time, Our Place.

💡 Did you know? Helping kids manage their own behaviour also helps meet the National Quality Standard for Quality Area 5: Relationships with Children, where educators guide children to regulate their actions & emotions.

Domino Challenges at Active OOSH Tuncurry! 🧱

✨ A couple of our OOSHies have been hooked on domino challenges, lining up our blocks to see just how long they can make them. It's been loads of fun!

Challenge Cup Day! 🏆

✨ Our OOSHies flipped, spun, bounced & flew their way through the Challenge Cup, laughing the whole way! 🤸 It was a day packed with fun for everyone.

💙 Active challenges like these build balance, coordination & the confidence to have a go.

🌱 Moving their bodies in all sorts of ways & sharing plenty of giggles helped the children feel happy & energised, supporting a strong sense of wellbeing in My Time, Our Place.

Roll Up, Roll Up for Circus Day! 🎪

✨ Our OOSHies at Active OOSH Tuncurry kicked off vacation care with a day full of circus fun! They wobbled across balance challenges, spun hoops & got creative with circus craft & face painting ❤️

💙 Circus skills help children build coordination, focus & the courage to try something new.

🌱 Keeping their bodies moving through balancing & hooping helped the children grow their strength & body awareness. This supports the My Time, Our Place outcome: children have a strong sense of wellbeing.

School Holidays are here! ☀️

What to pack each day for OOSH:
🧢 Hat: sun safety first!
🍎 A full lunch box: please pack enough for a full day, as we are very active!
💧 A full drink bottle: staying hydrated is important!
👕 A spare change of clothes: just in case we get stuck into some extra messy, creative or adventurous fun! 🎨💦
👟 Closed-in shoes: essential for all activities & for everyone’s safety. Crocs, slides & thongs are a no-go! 🚫
💊 Medication: If your child requires medication, please make sure it is in date, clearly labelled (tablets in a webster pack) & accompanied by the appropriate documentation/authorisation. Please be aware that without the required medication & documentation, your child will not be able to attend OOSH.
😁 A happy smile: the most important item of all!

Weird & Wonderful Clay Creations! 🎨

✨ Yesterday afternoon, our OOSHies got creative with air dry clay, modelling some wonderfully weird & imaginative creations. They loved every second of shaping & sculpting their ideas into something completely their own.

Creative Corner Magic! 🐛

✨ Yesterday afternoon our creative table was all about pipe cleaners! The OOSHies had free rein to twist, bend & build whatever sparked their imagination, from action figures to flowers, ice creams & even a cute little teddy bear.
