Embarking on a journey of faith, our little explorers celebrated Hajj🕋✨

Taking pride in being an Islamic early learning centre, the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijja was a highlight at our centre. Leading up to the day of Arafah, each day the children delved into the stories and rituals associated with the Hajj pilgrimage. On the day of Arafah we celebrated by performing the rituals of Hajj. Together we experienced the joy of Tawaf, the enthusiastic run between Mount Safa and Mount Marwa, the taste of ZamZam water, the serenity of Quran recitation, the symbolic acts of stoning at Rami-Al-Jamarat, and the heartfelt duas at Mount Arafah.

Here at Leading Leaps, we aim to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that cultivates a sense of respect, love and compassion in the hearts of our future leaders. May their journey of faith continue to flourish, guiding them on a path of righteousness and understanding 🤲🏻❤️

Last week we had a fun-filled and exciting day at our Leading Leaps Eid Festival!🎉 Complete with a jumping castle, fairy floss, popcorn, henna, photo booth, food stall with a variety and games, we had a blast celebrating Eid!🍿🍭🍰🛝🎪✨

It’s so important to make sure children feel the festivity and joy of Eid so they look forward to their own cultural celebrations. Our celebration at our centre was one way to cultivate this excitement!

Our little leapers put their baking hats on and had a fun incursion with .treats where they learnt to decorate some cookies using baking tools, icing, cookie cutters, sprinkles and different types of decorating moulds.👩‍🍳🍪🎨🧑‍🍳

Through this activity kids practiced fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity and of course had the reward of a yummy decorated cookie in the end!

We had a fun time this weekend showing our wonderful premises to some very special guests!
