🧪🎨 Bright Sparks is just around the corner!

Next Tuesday, our school will transform into a hub of creativity, discovery and hands on fun for our annual Bright Sparks: Science and Art Family Afternoon.

Come along to explore interactive science activities, admire our incredible student artwork and celebrate the amazing learning taking place across our specialist programs.

Bring the whole family along. We can't wait to welcome our Warreen community for an afternoon of science, art and plenty of bright ideas!

⭐ Yesterday, we rolled out the red carpet for our very own Hollywood stars! ⭐

To celebrate Principals' Day, our staff and students came together to surprise Joanna, Helen, Amanda and Habiba with a celebration filled with appreciation, laughter and heartfelt messages.

From kind words and thoughtful letters to plenty of smiles along the way, it was our opportunity to say thank you for the compassion, understanding and outstanding leadership they bring to Warreen every single day.

Their commitment to our students, staff and families often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across every corner of our school. They lead with kindness, support us through every challenge and help create a school where everyone can truly Believe, Belong, Become.

While Principals' Day gave us a special reason to celebrate, the truth is we are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated Principal Class team every day of the year.

Thank you, Joanna, Helen, Amanda and Habiba. ❤️ We appreciate everything you do for our Warreen community.

The PE field has been buzzing with energy this term!

From learning the importance of teamwork and fair play to mastering soccer kicks and AFL drop punts, our junior students have wasted no time getting active in Term 3.

One of the biggest highlights was welcoming six North Melbourne AFL players, who surprised our Year 1 students with a fun filled skills clinic. There were plenty of smiles, lots of learning and memories that will last a long time!

We can't wait for another action packed term of PE at Warreen!

📢 Tomorrow is Principals' Day! 💙

As a school community, we'll be taking the opportunity to recognise and celebrate our incredible Principal Class team and the leadership they provide every day.

From supporting our students and staff to leading our school with vision, care and commitment, they play an important role in making Warreen Primary School a place where Respect, Excellence and Belonging thrive.

🎨 Our young artists have been busy creating!
Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students have kicked off the term by exploring the Art Room and discovering what it means to be safe, respectful and responsible artists. Along the way, they collaborated with classmates, shared creative ideas and even challenged themselves with a fun new skill... drawing with both hands at the same time! What a fantastic way to spark creativity and build confidence.

🦓 There was plenty of wonder, curiosity and discovery at the zoo this week!
Our Grade 4 students became wildlife investigators as they explored how animals have adapted to survive in environments across the globe. From observing unique features to discussing animal behaviours, every stop sparked thoughtful questions and exciting conversations.
Learning beyond the classroom is always memorable, and this was an experience our students won't forget!

There's been no shortage of curiosity in our Year 3 classrooms this term!
As part of their inquiry into Building Fair and Safe Communities, students have been exploring what it means to be an active and responsible member of a community. Along the way, they've been making connections through reading, bringing their ideas to life in writing and discovering how concepts like fairness and equal sharing link to their Mathematics learning.
