National Reconciliation week 2026..!
During National Reconciliation Week 2026, children participated in different activities to learn about and show respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. They enjoyed art, music, storytelling, and group discussions that helped them understand the importance of reconciliation, inclusion, and respect for Australia’s First Nations peoples. The activities encouraged children to celebrate diversity, build connections, and learn about the history and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

A day to remember the past and commit to a better future. A national sorry day is a time to reflect on the history and impact on the Stolen Generations and to say sorry for the pain and loss experienced by the Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander peoples.

Thanks to Ridhima’s amazing effort setting up the dinosaur exhibit in our Surfers (toddler) room, children are now diving into the fascinating world of dinosaurs, their habitats, nature, and even volcanoes! This hands-on experience perfectly supports our child-led learning approach, encouraging little explorers to discover and learn with excitement.
