Welcome to Week 6!
On Monday we kick off our whole school public speaking competition. We will also be busily preparing for the Lismore Performing Arts concert next week with rehearsals and costume fittings commencing.

Today felt extra special at Tregeagle Public School. We think it may have been the biggest Book Fair crowd we’ve seen, and what a celebration it was!

Our students were absolutely incredible — their behaviour, enthusiasm and participation were wonderful to see. And the costumes! The time, creativity and effort our families put into bringing favourite book characters to life was phenomenal.

A huge thank you to our parents, carers and grandparents for coming along, dressing up, supporting our students and helping make today such a memorable one. Your involvement is what makes days like this so special.

And to our dedicated teachers and staff — thank you for the time, energy and care you put into creating experiences that make our students excited about books, reading and coming to school. 💙

There was such a beautiful sense of community around the school today. It was one of those days where you could really feel how special our school is.

We're looking forward to welcoming parents and carers for our parent-teacher interviews this week as we celebrate student progress, share learning achievements and discuss the next steps to support every child's success.

PS It is great to see such wonderful things happening in our beautiful Tregeagle community. It was lovely to see so many Tregeagle PS families past and present at the open day for Joy at St Peter and St Paul at Tregeagle over the weekend. Congratulations to kennysmithshoots and team on a creating a beautiful space in our local community.

🌟 Welcome to the Team, Miss Shelley! 🌟

We are delighted to officially welcome Miss Shelley to Tregeagle Public School!

Miss Shelley will be joining us full-time for the remainder of the year, working across all of our classes throughout the week. She brings with her many years of experience working in schools and a genuine passion for supporting students to learn, grow and thrive.

After recently completing the Grow Your Own Teacher Education Program, Miss Shelley is embarking on the next exciting chapter of her teaching journey, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our school community.

Please join us in giving Miss Shelley a very warm Tregeagle welcome. We know she will make a wonderful contribution to the learning and wellbeing of our students, and we look forward to all that lies ahead.

Our annual Book Fair and Grandparents Day will be held on Thursday 13 August 2026.

The Book Fair will open at 8:30am for purchasing and we will kick off our event with our student parade at 9:30am. Following the parade, parents and grandparents are welcome to view their child's classroom.

We look forward to celebrating with you all!

Our Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews are a valuable opportunity to celebrate your child's achievements, discuss their learning progress and work together to support their continued success.

Bookings are now open through the School Bytes Parent App. Simply log in, select your child's interview time and confirm your booking.
