Got a surprise message this week from a parent who took pictures at the inaugural Maca Music End of Year Concert in 2023. It’s had me reflecting on how far we’ve come. When I started Maca Music in early 2023, I wasn’t sure if this idea of building a music school where students got to play and focus on what they want would work. All I knew was I wanted to give it my best shot. After a slow start, things picked up quickly. Now in our 4th year with over 200 students and 5 teachers, I’m so grateful to the community for giving us a shot. I couldn’t have done it without my dedicated team of teachers, my wife Sarah working behind the scenes and providing ongoing support and guidance. Most of all, thank you to the parents and students for making Maca Music what it is today!
