🌱♻️ Designing for a Sustainable Future! ♻️🌱

This term, our 3/4 Unit has been exploring Design Technology and Sustainable Packaging with a focus on the important principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle 🌍💚.

Students have investigated different types of packaging, examined the materials they are made from, and discussed the role packaging plays in our everyday lives. They have also been learning about the impact packaging can have on the environment and why making sustainable choices matters. 🌏📦

Using their creativity and problem-solving skills, students have been thinking of innovative ways to give everyday packaging a second life by transforming it into new and useful products with a purpose. ✨🔄🛠️

On Thursday 10 September, we invite all staff and students to wear yellow as a bright reminder of the importance of checking in with one another, starting meaningful conversations and supporting our friends, classmates and colleagues. 💛

Let’s make it a day to ask, “Are you OK?”, listen without judgement and remind each other that we’re never alone.

💛 Wear yellow. Start a conversation. Make a difference. 💛
