St Michael's School Traralgon

Today our Grade 3/4 students were able to enjoy their brand new classrooms for the first time. They look fabulous and this part completes the Stage Two phase of our building project.

Stage Three demolition has begun and there is so much more to do… 2 x 3/4 classrooms, deck area, synthetic grass, external access to the library and toilets… the list goes on!!

Our students and teachers have been amazing by being super flexible and adaptable!!

We have freed up the hall and we can’t wait to have whole school assemblies again in the near future.

Can you spot the new additions to the library??

🌟When schools and families work together, great things are achieved 🌟

Thanks to the amazing fundraising efforts of our Parents and Friends group, our junior school playground has had a face lift!

Over the school holidays our old and worn playground was fully refurbished with a new layer of paint. The Foundation and Grade 1/2 students voted on the colours and we think it’s turned out brilliant. No more rust marks on their hands 😆🖐🏼.

This couldn’t have occurred without the many contributions our St Michael’s families have made over the school year. Events such as the Hot Cross Bun drive, Mothers and Father’s Day raffles and the school trivia night helped make this happen.

Check out the before and after photos.

We cannot thank you enough 💕

The Grade 5/6 classrooms have been buzzing with activity over the past few weeks. Last week kicked off with our exciting Making Day, where students worked collaboratively to design and build their sustainable towns before proudly welcoming parents and other classes to view their creations. Yesterday, we held our termly dodgeball challenge, with 5/6 C emerging victorious and taking home the trophy. This morning, students were busy creating football banners in preparation for leading the AFL teams in this afternoon’s parade.
A fantastic end to our Term!

🏆CONGRATULATIONS NASH 🏆

Today our Year 5 student Nash represented Victoria and competed in the National Cross Country Championships in Sydney and finished 4th in the Under 11s Multiclass section.
