Teaching has always been my greatest passion 🎹🖤

I began learning piano at the age of four and have never stopped since. Throughout my journey, I was guided by three incredible teachers — Eunjeong Jo, Diana Harris, and Monika Laczofy — who shaped not only my musicianship, but also the teacher I am today.

Their mentorship inspired me to follow the same path: nurturing young musicians with care, structure, and genuine love for music.

Yesterday, our new studio welcomed two new Kawai K-300J pianos — a very special milestone. I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering support from my husband David, my family, and Sam Blanchard-Jackson from Piano Max by Kawai for helping us find the perfect instruments for our students.

From starting with just one student to teaching over 100 at one point, this journey has been incredibly humbling.

I continue to learn every day so I can guide, inspire, and support each student in reaching their fullest musical potential.

Yesterday’s Christmas Concert was filled with joy, courage, and so many proud moments. Every student stepped onto the stage with such bravery, and I couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved. Thank you to our amazing parents and families for your constant love and support. It truly means the world to me. What a beautiful way to finish the year together 🥰🎄

Thank you again for your continued support and trust throughout the year. I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe, and restful holiday season. I look forward to seeing everyone again in the new year.

It was such a joy to celebrate the end of the year together through music. I’m incredibly proud of every student for performing with confidence, expression, and joy. Each one truly shone in their own way.

Dear Parents,

I hope you're all well.

I wanted to let you know that I will be away from 11 September to 27 September to visit Indonesia and meet my husband’s family for the first time since we were married two and a half years ago.

As a result, there will be 7–8 weeks of piano lessons in Term 3. I sincerely apologise for the shortened term and any inconvenience this may cause.

To support students during this period, I plan to offer make-up lessons during the Term 3 school holidays upon my return, for any students who are available and interested.

We had an amazing Winter Student Concert last Saturday. I am so proud of all my students for having the courage to stand on stage and perform for their families and friends!

Just a quick note that I follow the public school term schedule, and this week will be our final lesson before the school holidays. There will be no piano lessons during the holiday break.

I hope you all have a wonderful and restful holiday period, and I look forward to seeing the students back in term 3 ✨🎹

So proud of all our young pianists for their hard work, progress, and beautiful music this term.
