Who is EMC?

EMC is run by Erin McGuffie, who began riding when she was just 6 years old after she saw her older brother get his own horse and start riding. Erin eventually convinced her parents to buy her beloved horse Buddy who has been a treasured love of Erin’s since she was young. Buddy taught Erin her foundation and helped her gain confidence in herself along with her riding.

Erin than in grade 11 in high school bought her Australian Stock Horse, Mahogany Denver who became her new competition horse. Erin would take Denver on Trail rides, Horse Sports and clinics. Erin once in grade 12 applied for a internship to America working under Jenny Sherbo which she was accepted into.

Working at Jenny Sherbo’s in California helped Erin expand her horse knowledge and further her training while meeting some amazing people along the way such as Lyn Ringrose Moe and her husband John, Sharon Camirillo and Larry Trocha along with competing in competitions around America.

When Erin came back to Australia she decided to start her own Horse Riding business to help other young kids to learn the joy and discipline of riding horses. Erin prides herself on working outside of the box and making every riding lesson unique.
