We are teaming up with the our friends at Kiersten's Kids FDC and are calling for donations to the Townsville Council Animal Care and Adoption Centre.

The following items have been recommended - Tinned cat & dog food, including kitten & puppy (No biscuits, dry food) , toys, treats, Bird seed and bird toys, cat scratching poles and little light polar fleece blankets, little plush toys for puppies to snuggle into…and wrestle with are also greatly appreciated.

Nothing is more fun than getting messy with some rainbow pasta and good friends. Messy/Sensory play is important for young children, giving them endless ways to develop and learn. This type of play helps children to develop and improve their gross and fine motor skills, co-ordination, concentration and language skills. It also provides them with the opportunity to work cooperatively and collaboratively.

Did you know that baking with children can boost their development? It can increase language development, enhance fine motor skills, increase math ability as well as increases focus and attention. Not to forget it is Fun!! 😁
