Share as much as possible to educate more people about poisons and our wildlife. I have seen the effects of these poisons on raptors many times and it's horrible. We can do better.
Fight 4 Flight N.Q. Birds of Prey is an educational display with Birds of Prey in a controlled and exciting up close and personal experience.
Fight for Flight, or F4F, is owned and operated by Deborah Carter and a small team of human (and bird!) volunteers. We aim to make people aware of the challenges facing Australian raptors. F4F's charitable work includes the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured or sick raptors. We also implement strategies for the conservation and education of Australia's precious avian life. All donations and profits go to food, medical and housing costs for injured or orphaned birds.

The mighty Wedge tailed eagle (Aquila audax)
Atlas enjoying a sunbake after a morning out. When birds lay like this with the wings and tail fanned out, he is getting a maximum surface area to catch some rays. Helping him to absorb calcium through vit d.
I however was roasting!! 😊

The stunning Australian Masked owl (Tyto novaehillandiae)
This is Grinder and Zorro sharing a hollow, they have 3, but seem to like squishing in together. Interestingly Masked owls can breed any time of the year if times are favourable to them.
Some of the troubles they face are habitat destruction, car strike and poisoning as their numbers decline.
