🌸 Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! 🌸

Today we celebrate our incredible team of educators and the difference they make every single day. ❤️

Being an educator is so much more than caring for children. It’s about creating a safe and welcoming place where children feel heard, respected, valued and free to be themselves. It’s the cuddles, the laughter, the messy play, the endless questions, the little moments of learning and the countless ways they help children grow and flourish.

Thank you for bringing your patience, kindness, creativity and passion to our centre each day. The relationships you build with children and families truly matter, and the impact you have will stay with our children long after they leave us.

I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and proud of the team we have built together.

Thank you for all that you do — you are valued, appreciated and very much celebrated today and every day! 🌷💗

Happy Educators’ Day! 🎉

Scissor cutting in early childhood is a founational milestone that significantly accelerates a chid's fine motor development, coordination and school readiness. It helps build hand strength when opening and closing the blades, it teaches each finger to move independently and prepares for handwriting as the grip is similar to that of the tripod pencil grasp. The children in the Kindergarten room enjoyed the activity and were all concentrating hard at the task.
We still have spots available in the Kindergarten room for the remainder of 2026 and we have access to the 15hrs of Free Kindy as well. To book a tour go to http://kelso.milestones.com.au/book-a-tour or call the centre directly on 07 47896000.

As the weather cools down, little bodies need warm, nourishing food to keep them going 🍛

Our new autumn menu is filled with comforting, wholesome meals designed to support your child’s wellbeing and growing appetite.

And yes... we’re often told children try foods here they won’t touch at home 👀

We’ve even shared a few simple tips to help make mealtimes easier for you at home too.

Big feelings can be loud, exhausting, and sometimes arrive at the worst possible moment 🌻

For toddlers and preschoolers, emotional blow-ups often happen because they’re still learning how to cope with frustration, change, and big moments, not because anyone is “doing it wrong”.

At Milestones, we support children through big feelings with calm, consistent care, helping them feel safe while they build emotional skills over time.
