Castle Hill Girl Guides Celebrates 100 Years of Guiding!
This year, Castle Hill Girl Guides proudly celebrates 100 years of Guiding—a century of friendship, adventure, leadership, and community.
To mark this special milestone, we warmly invite all former Guides, Leaders, volunteers, families, supporters, and members of the community to join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
Come along to reconnect with old friends, share memories, celebrate our rich history, and help us look forward to the next 100 years of empowering girls and young women.
We would love to see everyone who has been part of our Guiding journey over the past century.
Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Castle Hill Girl Guides!

Wednesday night the Aitkenvale Girl Guides & Rangers challenged themselves by hiking down the Cutheringa Track from the top of Castle Hill to our meeting point in Gregory Street, North Ward. Before descending Aquila & Kalira renewed their Girl Guide promise as Leaders with the bright lights of Townsville as a back drop.

Big impact starts with one person saying ‘Yes!’ 🌟
At Girl Guides, volunteers help girls and young women grow in confidence, take on challenges, build friendships and discover their potential – and it all starts with people willing to show up and make a difference.
You don’t need to have all the answers or endless free time to volunteer. Sometimes, the smallest moments of encouragement can leave the biggest impact. ☀️🌈✨
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, this could be your sign to start the conversation. Because big impact really does start with you.
