I offer fully customised, structured and fun lessons in English, covering everything from basic literacy to University assessments. My wealth of experience as an English tutor to High School and University students, as well as speakers of other languages, has enabled me to teach all levels from absolute beginner to advanced or specialist learner. I can teach for improvement of English literacy and numeracy, examinations, self-development, employment or confidence building. In addition, I have a wealth of experience in proofreading written work of all types. I can proofread in person or online, depending on your needs. I assist with essay writing at High School and University levels. If you find examinations challenging, I can help you to relax and focus, as well as to organise an efficient and effective revision timetable. I teach from my home, but can also visit you at your own home or business, and at JCU. Lesson fees vary according to the number, type and location of lessons you require. There is no better feeling than when a student of mine has understood a key point, or acquired a new skill. I do not believe that learning has to be dry and serious.
