We’re getting very excited for our Book Week celebration this Sunday, and we’ve got some amazing local children’s authors joining us throughout the day! 🧡

Yesterday, our Maggies traded their uniforms for pyjamas to support the Pyjama Foundation and raise awareness for children in foster care.

With a bake sale, popcorn sales and movies, our College community came together to support a very worthwhile cause.

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students who recently represented North Queensland in Touch Football.

📸 Chloe and Kyana proudly represented North Queensland in the 10-12 Years division in Bundaberg, continuing SMMC's strong presence in QRSS Northern Touch.

📸 Several of our students were part of the U15 North Queensland team that achieved an impressive third-place finish at the State Championships. A special congratulations to Elka, who was selected in the Queensland team, and Mabata, who was named as a Queensland shadow player.

We are incredibly proud of all our students for their commitment, sportsmanship and the way they represented both North Queensland and our College. Well done, girls! 💙

What a weekend for our SMMC rugby stars!

Our U14 girls proudly represented the College during the half-time activation at the Wallabies v Japan Test, taking on Thuringowa State High School in a Tri Tag match at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

In a special acknowledgement, Rugby Australia representatives described it as "the best game of Tri Tag played at a halftime activation." Their ability to learn and adapt to the non-contact version of Rugby 7s so quickly is a reflection of their dedication and the opportunities provided through our growing rugby program.

A fantastic experience and a proud moment for our College. 💙💛

Congratulations to our current staff members and alumni who helped bring Townsville Choral Society's production of Frozen to life, both on stage and in the band.
