⚽️⚽️ Shout out to our legendary Year 7/8 Block Interschool Football team. These legends have had a great comp and were rewarded with a good win against William Ross on Tuesday afternoon ⚫️🟡

Our first ever Capoeira program has now wrapped up, giving students a fresh and exciting activity to try this term. Each session focused on learning new skills, building confidence, and most importantly - having fun! We’re pleased to report that our students absolutely loved it.

A huge thank you to the incredible instructors from Capoeira Brasil Townsville for their energy, expertise, and enthusiasm.

We’re excited to grow this program even further in the future!

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 🚣‍♀️🚣

We were thrilled to welcome an incredible group of 35 students from Years 6–10 to our Rowing Come and Try sessions across Friday and Saturday! Over the two sessions, students took to the water in doubles, quads and eights, and absolutely loved every minute.

A massive shoutout to our returning rowers who generously came down to support and help coach our new athletes — you were awesome!

The future is looking very bright for Grammar Rowing!

⚫️🟡 Huge congratulations to Jonas Tzanabetis who won the Interschool Queensland Mario Cart Competition down at the Gold Coast on the weekend. Jonas then went on to the National final where he finished second. Amazing effort to be crowned the state champion and then second in Australia!

Shout out to Mary Cato (Yr 8 ) for making the Northern Tennis Team. Mary will now head to Caloundra in March next year for the State Champs

🏀 Final Day of CBSQ Years 7–8 Basketball! 🏀
Grammar wrapped up an incredible week at the CBSQ tournament with a hard-fought 35–27 win over Pacific Lutheran College, finishing 7th overall in Division 5 — an amazing effort in our first ever year entering the competition! 💛🖤

A special thank you to Mrs Kinobe for volunteering to lead the score bench every game.

Beyond the court, the team enjoyed some unforgettable moments — from Surfers Paradise adventures to watching the Brisbane Bullets vs Sydney Kings NBL showdown! 🔥

CBSQ Update 🏀🏀
We started the day with a terrific win against St Augustine’s Ipswich 34-23. This was a brilliant team win with all players contributing, and ensured we finished top of our pool. In the Quarter Final we unfortunately came up against a quality team from St Andrew’s Anglican College who were too strong taking the game 15-37. Looking forward to our next match tomorrow morning.
