πŸ“šπŸ§Έ National Pyjama Day at Cubby Care Allambie Lane! πŸ’™βœ¨

What a wonderful day we had celebrating National Pyjama Day Friday!

Our service was filled with comfy pyjamas, smiling faces, laughter and plenty of fun as the children enjoyed stories, games, movies, and cosy learning experiences together.οΏΌ With a special gift given to all our foster families. πŸ’

This gave us the opportunity to come together as a community to support an important cause.

National Pyjama Day helps raise awareness for children living in foster care, reminding us of the importance of providing every child with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing families who participated and wore their favourite pyjamas.
Your community spirit helps to make a real difference.πŸ’™βœ¨

✨ Our Kindergarten Environment – Growing With Our Children πŸŒΏπŸ“šπŸ’œ

At Cubby Care, our Kindergarten environment evolves throughout the year alongside the children. As their interests, strengths and developmental needs change, so does our learning space.

Every area has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, secure and excited to learn. From inviting literacy spaces filled with engaging books, meaningful displays and opportunities to explore language, to carefully planned learning experiences that encourage curiosity and independence, our environment reflects the children who learn within it.

We believe the environment is the "third teacher," inspiring children to investigate, create, collaborate and build confidence every day. By adapting our spaces throughout the year, we ensure they remain purposeful, engaging and responsive to children's emerging ideas and interests.

Most importantly, our Kindergarten is a place where every child feels a sense of belonging, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to learn, explore, take risks, build friendships and grow into confident, capable learners.

πŸ’œ We are so proud of the beautiful learning community our Kindergarten children and educators continue to create together.

Our little artists explored the beauty of their environment through watercolour painting. With brushes in hand and imaginations soaring, the children carefully observed the world around them before bringing it to life with vibrant colours and creative expression. 🎨✨

We are privileged to welcome Ashley from Wulgurukaba Walkabouts for a wonderful cultural experience with our children.

Ashley shared traditional Aboriginal hunting tools and explained how they have been used by Aboriginal peoples for generations to hunt, gather food and care for Country.
The children listened with curiosity, asked thoughtful questions, and thoroughly enjoyed participating in traditional dancing led by Ashley.

A big thank you to Ashley from Wulgurukaba Walkabouts for sharing your knowledge, culture, and stories with us.

We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ
