Why Our Opening & Closing Roles Matter 🔑
At our centre, opening and closing the day is a role we take very seriously. These positions are not just about unlocking doors or packing away, they carry a high level of responsibility, trust, and accountability.
Our opening and closing educators are responsible for:
• Ensuring the centre is fully prepared, safe, and compliant at the start of the day
• Supporting smooth transitions for children during arrivals and departures
• Overseeing routines such as morning and afternoon tea to ensure children are settled and cared for
• Maintaining consistency, communication, and calm during our busiest times
From Monday 12th, the following Educators have been carefully selected for these roles based on their experience, reliability, and leadership within the centre:
Opens:
• Miss Tish
• Miss Mon
Closes:
• Miss Dainzelle
• Miss Joyce
These Educators work closely with leadership to ensure every day begins and ends in a way that supports children, families, and staff.
