What an incredible day for Ryan Athletics at the TSSS ‘A Schools’ Interschool Athletics Competition. Our Girls squad finished 4th overall, our Boys squad finished 5th overall, and together, Team Ryan achieved an outstanding 3rd Overall finish- our highest result in years.

𝟐𝐀 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭.

In HASS and Technology, we have been investigating transport, washing clothes, cooking items, and even toys. As true scientists, we tested some screen-free toys from the past and learnt how to play marbles. It turns out that it's trickier than we thought to win a game of marbles.

We gave marbles 9/10 for fun and enjoyed investigating the toy from the past!

Our teacher, Gavin was the Team's Manager and said, "Tayge was a major contributor to the team's success and is a very talented footballer. He is an extremely good person with a positive mindset and dedication to his sport. He was a fantastic representative of our College."

There was so much talent and variety on display, with students even swapping instruments between songs. The mosh pit was full of house pride, energy and plenty of cheer.

All of the students drove extremely well and received a medal and a pizza voucher for their participation. Congratulations to Dylan and Dominic, who finished 2nd and 3rd in the Dirt Devils B class. This was a fantastic achievement!

Our Year 1 students enjoyed an exciting visit to the Senior Campus, exploring some of the amazing learning spaces on offer!

Students visited The Hub, explored the B Block classrooms, and got up close with some interesting insects using microscopes and magnifying glasses. 🔍

The day also included a visit to the Yarning Circle with Gail, where students had the opportunity to learn, connect and explore this special space.

A fantastic day of curiosity, discovery and new experiences!
