Breaking Barriers Through Inclusive Barista Training: The Kulur Trio Story 25/07/2026

Three sisters. Three inspiring journeys. One incredible achievement.

Equality Education was proud to support Chantel, Eyvonne and Gloria from Kulur Trio as they completed nationally recognised Barista training, funded by National Indigenous Australians Agency and On Common Country through the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP).

Gloria is legally blind, Eyvonne experiences mental health challenges, and Chantel manages mobility difficulties but none of this defines what they can achieve.

Through patient, flexible and individualised training, we created a supportive environment where each sister could develop practical skills, build confidence and demonstrate their abilities while meeting nationally recognised standards.

This is what makes Equality Education different. We take the time to understand every learner and provide genuine support, not just enrol them in a course.

We are incredibly proud of these three remarkable women and cannot wait to see Kulur Trio continue to grow.

Breaking Barriers Through Inclusive Barista Training: The Kulur Trio Story Equality Education recently had the pleasure of welcoming three inspiring sisters. Chantel, Eyvonne and Gloria to complete nationally recognised Barista training. The training was funded by On Common…

At Equality Education, inclusion is not just something we talk about, it is something we live, breathe and put into action.

This photo represents what real support looks like. Parents being able to complete their training while having their children safely with them. A learning environment where people feel welcomed, respected and supported. A place where barriers are removed, not used as excuses.

We are proud to lead the industry by doing things differently. No government support. No big funding behind us. Just genuine commitment, hard work and a belief that training should be accessible, ethical and built around real people.

These are not just words on a photo. These are our actions.

Because when people feel supported, they don’t just complete a course, they build confidence, opportunity and a future.
