Can you spot the five Flexi staff at the latest Stronger Smarter Leadership program held in Townsville recently? This has been a great program supporting us to develop high expectations relationships with young people and with each other.
A great leadership program in Townsville with educators from across Queensland - a lot of learning and sharing together. Looking forward to the follow up program.

Loved taking the opportunity tonight with our annual Community Dinner to acknowledge some of the wonderful organisations our school works with to provide a variety of experiences for our young people. It was a great opportunity for some of them to connect and realise they too could find possibilities with each other. As one of our partners said ‘it takes a village’ and this only highlights the beauty we have in working together - like minded people, genuinely connected over the commitment we have to young people. We are so blessed to work with you all 💙

Congratulations to all of our award winners today at our end of term Morning Tea. We love acknowledging how much progress our young people make each term and this term has been no exception. So many young people are working beautifully with our four principles- Safe and Legal, Participation, Honesty and Respect and they are showing growing strengths with their attendance, a ‘can-do’ attitude and looking out for each other .

Can you believe we are heading into the last week of term already? As is our tradition, all Flexi families are invited to school tomorrow for a fabulous morning tea where we will also acknowledge and celebrate the progress of our young people throughout the term. We have lots of things to share so please come along if you can for an 11.00am start 😊

Middies SAMU spent the day with Dave down at Rossiter Park learning how to build a raft to travel from the bank to the jetty. Corey dressed up as a pirate and made the dangerous trek successfully across the river in the makeshift raft, which was then followed by a swim in the river and bbq lunch.

Maybiya headed to the Billabong Sanctuary today to wrap up their Unit of Work for the term on, well, the Maybiya.
Maybiya is the Wulgurukaba word for crocodile and the young people have been learning all about the character traits associated with this majestic creature.
Strength, patience, awareness and protection are traits that both crocodiles and humans share and our young people have exhibited each of these this term.
Was a cracking day at the Billabong!

One of our young men from the Burragah Program is doing a great job creating his own didgeridoo. How deadly! 🖤💛❤️

Just like fishing in a barrel. Almost too easy with everyone reeling in double figures and some nearing triple! Great fun 🎣🐟

A very excited group of young people got to experience a night out to watch the musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show. So much fun was had by all which included getting dressed up as their favourite Rocky Horror Picture Show characters! Let’s do the ‘Time Warp’ again! 🎸🎤🎶🤘
