This page is to keep you up to date on all that is happening at your Western Courts (JCU Halls of Residence) and for you to share your photos and fun while you are living here. As you may have guessed given its namesake, you’ll find Western Courts on the Western Campus of
JCU, right alongside the University swimming pool, and opposite the Schools of Humanities, Education and Tourism. Western Courts is a new complex of demountable buildings, each comprising eight individual air-conditioned rooms with ensuite. Accommodating 112 students in total, Western Courts was established in early 2008 to offset the closure of Western Hall, a former Residential Hall at JCU. In room facilities include king single bed, bedside drawers, wardrobe, desk and chair, phone and internet connection, bar fridge and TV. Dining, laundry, computer and study facilities are provided at Western Hall, which is adjacent to the Western Courts complex. This page is to connect all of our current residents.
