# 4 SIEMPRE HAY CLIMA DE VERANO EN AUSTRALIA.
Australia tiene un excelente clima con un promedio de temperaturas máximas en todo el país de 86°F/30°C, pero si tenemos estaciones de otoño e invierno con un promedio de 59°F/15°C. Cada Estado y Territorio tiene varios grados de frio y calor – hay nieve en las regiones Alpinas del Sur, mientras que hay junglas tropicales en las regiones del norte. Un estilo de vida de playas es común- tenemos más de 10.000 playas y más de 85% de Australianos viven dentro de 30 millas/48 kilómetros de la costa. Quizás nuestra reputación de ser un país cálido es debido a que el desierto corresponde al 18% de todo el continente y el 35% de toda nuestra tierra recibe tan pocas precipitaciones que se clasifica también como desértica.

# 4 IT IS ALWAYS SUMMER WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA.
Australia does have a great climate, with an average top temperature across the country of 86F/30C, but we do see a fall in the winter average to 59F/15C. Each State and Territory has various degrees of hot and cold – it snows in the southern Alpine regions and there is tropical rainforest in the northern region. A beach lifestyle is common though - we have more than 10,000 beaches and more than 85% of Australians live within just over 30 miles/48 kilometres from the coast. Perhaps our reputation for being hot is because desert makes up about 18% of our continent, and 35% of our land mass receives so little rainfall, it is classified as desert.

# 3 ¡UNO DE LOS ANIMALES “VENOSOS Y MORTALES” DE AUSTRALIA ME MATARÁN!
Es verdad que Australia es el hogar de muchas criaturas venenosas y mortales como serpientes, cocodrilos, medusas, tiburones y arañas. De las 25 serpientes más mortales del mundo 20 se encuentran aquí. También somos el hogar de la criatura marina más venenosa del mundo la “Medusa Box”, como también la única araña capaz de matar a un ser humano en menos de 2 horas. Sin embargo, a pesar de nuestra reputación tan peligrosa, no ha habido muertes por picadura de araña en los últimos 36 años. Las muertes por mordedura de serpiente promedian menos de 2 por año y sólo una persona muere por picadura de medusa. Hay que comentar que en el 2012, cincuenta y ocho personas en Australia murieron por caerse de la cama.

# 3 ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S POISONOUS AND DEADLY ANIMALS WILL KILL ME.
It is true that Australia is home to many venomous and deadly creatures such as snakes, crocodiles, jellyfish, sharks and spiders. Of the top 25 deadliest snakes in the world, 20 are found here. We are also home to the world’s most venomous marine creature – the Box Jellyfish, as well as the only spider able to kill a human being in less than two hours. However, despite our scary reputation there have been no deaths from spiders in the last 36 years. Snake deaths average less than two per year, and only up to one person dies each year from jellyfish stings. In 2012, though, fifty-eight people in Australia died from falling out of bed.
