A brighter night for some deserving North Queensland families. ✨💫

With the support of Triple M Townsville, we welcomed Brighter Lives Townsville Hospital Foundation and families of young patients from Townsville University Hospital to our final home game of 2026 for a special Field of Dreams experience.

Through Brighter Lives, families who spend significant time supporting a child through hospital care were able to swap the hospital environment for an evening at the footy, enjoying the game-day atmosphere together as part of the Cowboys community.

Thank you to SCA for making the Field of Dreams experience possible and to Brighter Lives for helping us welcome these families to our home ground!

The Innisfail Junior Leprechauns and Cooktown District Junior Rugby League Club brought plenty of energy to Queensland Country Bank Stadium, taking to the big stage during our final 2026 home game.

Big smiles, great teamwork and plenty of young footy stars making the most of their moment under the lights. Junior rugby league at its best. 🏉

Healthy waterways support healthy communities, and building awareness is essential to protecting them. 🌱🌊

At our final home game, we welcomed Healthy Waters Partnership for the Dry Tropics to Cowboys Community Corner, presented by Townsville City Council.

Healthy Waters is a collective of 20 local organisations dedicated to protecting our waterways by building community understanding about North Queensland's river, creek and coastal health.

Throughout the evening, kids and families put their aim to the test with the “Poo Toss”, a fun activity that involved throwing a toy through a specially designed cutout. It brought plenty of laughs while starting important conversations about what enters our waterways and how we can all help keep them healthy.

Thank you everyone who stopped by, joined the fun and showed their support for the waterways that sustain our region. 💙💛

When it comes to supporting children and families through a difficult journey, our community is full of heart. ❤️

At our recent home game, we loved welcoming HeartKids to Cowboys Community Corner, proudly presented by Townsville City Council.

HeartKids supports families impacted by childhood-onset heart disease, helping them find the care, information and understanding they need throughout their journey.

Across the evening, this support was brought to life as volunteers connected with fans through a number of fun activities and stopped to discuss their upcoming Two Feet & a Heartbeat event.

It was a touching reminder of the care within our community. Thank you everyone who joined us and helped us share a little extra heart. 💙💛

Rugby league is at its strongest when people feel connected to our game, our club and our community. 🏉

When our Cowboys ambassadors recently visited Mackay, Sarina, Mirani and Walkerston, this was the message we wanted to make clear. More than a game, rugby league brings us together, creates a space where everyone can belong and empowers us to grow.

We witnessed this growth first-hand during an action-packed week of Cowboys Coaching clinics at schools across the region. Here, the young athletes truly embraced what makes our game special, bringing an enthusiasm that lifted every session. As each young person grew in confidence, those around them joined in, showing how one person's positive experience with the game can strengthen their mindset and connection to the community around them.

When young people participate, they help our club grow stronger. That strength reaches far beyond the field, encouraging the positive everyday behaviours that help communities thrive.

Each person who picks up a ball, joins a team or supports their local club shapes North Queensland Rugby League's future. By creating these opportunities for positive game engagement, we can also grow participation and keep rugby league at the heart of our communities.

A big thank you to Mackay Toyota for getting our ambassadors on the road in a new Toyota Tundra, helping them cover plenty of kilometres to connect with communities across the region.

Big stage, proud moment, plenty of Mini League magic. 🏉

TAIHS Townsville and Deadly Choices Mackay lit up Queensland Country Bank Stadium during our home Indigenous Round clash, joining the celebrations in support of Deadly Choices.

From the first run to the final whistle, these young players brought plenty of energy and spirit, putting their skills on show under the lights. 🙌

Connection was at the heart of a special Field of Dreams experience for Orange Sky Australia 🧡

With the support of SCA, we welcomed the organisation and its guests to share in the atmosphere of a Cowboys home game.

Orange Sky creates a safe and welcoming space for people experiencing homelessness, offering free laundry, warm showers and the chance to connect through genuine conversation.

At our recent home game, we loved having the Queensland Rural Fire Service in Cowboys Community Corner, proudly presented by Townsville City Council.

The Queensland Rural Fire Service plays an important role in aiding communities across the state, bringing people together through a shared commitment to preparedness, safety and support.

Throughout the evening, fans had the opportunity to stop by, meet the team and learn more about the essential work they do.

Our Under 8s brought plenty of energy, with Wanderers Mount Isa and Bowen Seagulls duking it out on the big stage at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

A special Queensland Derby experience for Townsville Dementia Support Group. 💙

At Saturday night’s home game, we welcomed the group to Field of Dreams, with the experience made possible through the support of Toyota Australia.

Dedicated to ensuring local families don’t have to face dementia’s challenges alone, the volunteer-led organisation provides a safe space built on understanding, guidance and genuine connection.

It was fantastic to see these guests enjoy game day’s excitement as part of our Cowboys community.

Sometimes, the moments that mean most are the ones we share.
