🎉 Happy Principal Day! 🎉

Today we celebrated Principal Day at Oonoonba State School, recognising the incredible leadership and dedication of our Principal, Sarah Comino, and Deputy Principal, Trevor Milton.

While Mr Milton has been on leave, Caterina Johnson has done a wonderful job as Acting Deputy Principal. Today we also celebrated and thanked Caterina for her outstanding work with a homemade chocolate cake and a special surprise from our canteen.

A heartfelt thank you to Sarah, Trevor and Caterina for everything you do to support our students, staff and families. Your leadership, care and commitment help make Oonoonba State School such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We are so grateful for all that you do for our school community throughout the year. 💙💛

On Tuesday, my principal colleagues and I had the opportunity to meet with the Education Minister to discuss the celebrations and challenges of our schools. It is always great to share the wonderful things that happen at Oonoonba State School.

🌈✨ UNDER 8s DAY AT OONOONBA STATE SCHOOL ✨🌈

This morning our Prep to Year 2 students will be enjoying a fun-filled morning celebrating Under 8s Day through learning, play, creativity and exploration! 🎨🎶🏃📚

Families are warmly invited to join us and share in the excitement as students participate in a range of engaging activities designed to celebrate the wonder of the early years.

☕ Parents and carers can also enjoy a delicious coffee from BRU Coffee House who will be on site from 9:00am.

We look forward to seeing our students learning, laughing and making wonderful memories together!
