👩Miss 6 (nearly 7) got a new desk recently. It could be a coincidence with age and development, but she has shown a higher level of effort and engagement in her learning! I think for her it's about having ownership over a space that's just hers.
It has also encouraged many more play ideas! 🥳

🤚✋ Hands-on materials are a great way to first introduce Mathematic concepts. It helps children make connections, retain information better and develop problem solving skills!
On the weekend, we played a place value trading game with dice. Using what we had, our ones were buttons, our tens were stones and hundreds were shells. 🔴🪨🐚
