It’s a long one but worth the read! Honesty + Vulnerability.
To myself, for myself. 🫶🏽

When my Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease, my heart shattered. The constant reminders of its progression and the uncertainty of how quickly it could take hold made me question so much about life. The heartache was overwhelming, though I clung to the hope of a miracle. When I got a call from a doctor saying Dad needed urgent medical intervention and I might not make it home in time, I went into shock. Yet, in that dark time, a miracle appeared—our family came together, not just for Dad but to support one another through the loss.

Since then, it’s been easy to retreat. Moving away from family and friends if left me feeling isolated. When people asked how I was, “good thanks” became an automatic response, masking the reality of how much I was struggling. With my own health challenges, which I don’t always share, I often felt scared and alone. There were moments when hope seemed lost.

I can’t say I’ve fully worked through it, but I am choosing not to stay in that dark place. As 2025 begins, my hope is to become more comfortable asking for help, braver in speaking about what’s hard, and bold enough to live with joy—even when faced with challenges like landing in the cardiac ward.

I hope that when I revisit this memory in two years, I’ll be able to look back and say look what the lord has done!

Surround yourself with those who create a safe space, where being your true self is celebrated, supported, and embraced.

For neurodivergent individuals, this sense of community is even more crucial—it’s a place where understanding, patience, and acceptance thrive. In these spaces, differences are seen as strengths, and each person is empowered to grow, feel seen, and find belonging. A strong community offers not just support but the freedom to explore your unique brilliance without fear of judgment.

I absolutely adore the friends that I see as family in my world 🤍🌍

Are you the friend that’s too direct or are you the friend can’t handle being spoken to too directly. Or maybe your like me and are both 🤭

When it comes to communication, autistic individuals often face a unique paradox. On one hand, we are known for being direct and straightforward. This honesty is often appreciated for its clarity—what you see is what you get. Autistic people tend to say what they mean without the layers of implied meaning or social nuance that can sometimes cloud communication.

However, there’s another side to this coin. While autistic individuals may communicate directly, being spoken to in a similarly direct manner isn’t always well received. Direct communication from others can sometimes feel too blunt or harsh, especially if it lacks empathy or sensitivity. This can be overwhelming, triggering anxiety, or leading to feelings of being misunderstood or disrespected.

There’s so many reasons of why this happens! But just remember to be supportive when communicating. It’s a pretty epic feeling when you’re treated with respect + kindness when you don’t hide behind any masks. Those are the friends that are forever friends!!!

Someone told me the other day I’m making people think differently about being neurodivergent. 🚀🤩

And look day made!!!

Big picture thinking for a second people; imagine a world where we felt so confident in being our unique self that we told family and friends about how we experience life, what we need help with and how we can also support others (don’t put people with a disability in a box that can’t help others). I honestly believe it can help bring awareness + help prevent trauma/suicide. Here for you, no matter the mood!!!

I have some big goals in life especially with moody, I honestly appreciate everyone being so supportive in this community.

Don’t forget LEGACY! If it’s something you want to dive deep into, touch base with me.

There’s one thing I can’t get my head around! 🥸

We are aware that the neurodivergent people have different experiences in life. What if we took an approach of understanding those experiences and embracing them. Instead of posing our opinions, giving the glaring look in public or sharing a story of “back in the day”.

I’m here to support you! I’m here wholeheartedly to help you fulfill your goals. I’m here to help make a difference in the world. 🚀🌏
