A proud moment for our team this weekend.
Winning the Adult Division Team Championship was a great result for our academy, but it’s more than that. It’s also a great opportunity for me to thank my friend and instructor, Henry Akins.
I’m very grateful to Henry for his knowledge and support, and for helping me continue to grow so I can better help my own students evolve.
At ISO, we are a self-defence focused BJJ academy. But I’ve always believed that good Jiu-Jitsu is good Jiu-Jitsu, and strong fundamentals are universally applicable. This weekend, our team showed exactly that.
Very proud of our students, and very grateful to those who helped shape me so I can keep passing it on.
