I am very proud to announce that a new ‘Public Access AED’ has been placed at Doc Hughes on the Esplanade in Torquay.
Myself (BLS Training Services), along with Roger Abel (Roger Abel Training Services) and Doc Hughes have been equal partners in making this possible.

The initiative to provide this potential life-saving device was born out of necessity. As First Aid and Aquatic Rescue trainers, we are only too aware of a severe lack of ‘Public Access AED’s in our community.
As ‘Community Ambulance Officers’ we have a focus on the local community, and community engagement.
We see this as the Community helping the community.
As such, we are seeking further community help to keep this initiative going.
