Road to Reading

One of our dear Road to Reading friends needs our help. Novalie is 13 years old and is battling leukaemia for the fourth time. She has just completed a bone marrow transplant.

Novalie loves musical theatre and her friends are putting on a benefit concert on Sunday 18th October to help raise funds for Novalie and the Children’s Cancer Institute. Two of my boys will be performing at this event.

There is an auction packed full of great prizes. Some of the best items are the collections of ‘Little Learners Love Literacy’ books. I encourage you to take a look, as these are a wonderful resource to help young, beginning readers. We regularly use them in class.
